The gardens extend around the house and lead down to a picturesque stream amongst the surrounding mature trees. Wildlife here is in abundance, green woodpeckers are seen on the south lawn and greater spotted ones in the north lawn. Many other colourful birds are seen amongst the pheasants. Watch out for the deer, rabbits, owls, moles and squirrels. We have had a visit from a weasel and a polecat caught on camera.
Poplars Farmhouse offers wireless Internet access throughout the house and terrace. Recycling is separated into compost, glass, plastics, metals, wood, paper and card with as little as possible ending in general waste.
We have a selection of wellington boots that guests may use.
